Our first community vote of 2020 closed at noon today. We've counted the votes using our fancy voting machine and we're giving thanks for the voting machine because we received more votes than ever before and almost as many as our last FIVE funding rounds combined.
The level of participation was absolutely outstanding with 781 votes authenticated and counted - that's a 216% increase on our last community vote!
With this increase in participation we've been able to welcome some new projects into the Gorbals Ideas Fund family, let's congratulate:

2. The Gorbalites - Cooking for Health (548 votes)
3. SEAL - Baby Yoga (516 votes)
4. Blackfriars Parent Council - Grow for It (516 votes)
5. Gorbals Imagination Library (411 votes)
6. Givin' it Laldie - Gorbals Sings (384 votes)
Thanks to your vote these projects will all receive 100% of the funds they requested and we can't wait to work with them to help them make the very best of their funding! Watch this space for updates on all of the great things they'll bring to the Gorbals over the next year.
