You voted to support the Gorbals Community Football idea, now known as NGE Grassroots Football, led by local man Craig Marshall. With £9,770 in funding, Craig is running low-cost, pay-what-you-can football sessions for local children and young people, helping make sports accessible to everyone in the community.

The programme has already started, and it's off to a great start. These fun, non-competitive sessions are designed to give children and young people the opportunity to enjoy football, improve their skills, and get active in a supportive environment. Whether they're beginners or have some experience, the focus is on building confidence, teamwork, and having fun—without the pressure of competition.
