We are so excited to be launching Your Priorities 2023 on Saturday 1 April 2023.
With support from funders like the Scottish Government, The National Lottery Scotland, Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership and New Gorbals Housing Association we're are able to make £80,000 available to support your ideas.
Just like last year, the majority of the funds (£60,000) will support ideas from local people and the rest (£20,000) will support ideas from local groups and services.
We'll be gathering ideas on our online platform at:
bit.ly/gorbalsideasfund.
When the platform goes live on Saturday morning you'll be able to post your ideas across two topics:
If your idea would bring a new group to the community or provide a new service that people can use when they need it post your idea in Services, Groups & Activities; or
If your idea would make a physical change to the community, make it look nicer, or improve a facility post your idea in Places & Spaces.
You don't have to cost your idea or have lots of detailed plans, just a rough outline of what you want and why you think it would be a great thing for our community. If you'd rather email or text your idea to us you can do that too by emailing info@gorbalsideas.org.uk or texting 07971819778.
We'll be gathering ideas for six weeks, until Monday 15 May 2023, then for two weeks we'll invite local people to support the ideas posted with the top ten ideas from local people and the top ten from local groups going on to the idea development stage.
