The idea for a Gorbals Community Cinema received £10,000 in funding, bringing the cinema experience directly to our community.

There are many exciting ways we can continually develop and deliver the Community Cinema, but to get started, we launched a monthly cinema night in the Gorbals Parish Church on the last Friday of every month (apart from July, as everyone needs a little break).

​

The cinema now has a regular team of dedicated volunteers who help create a warm, welcoming and accessible experience for local families and individuals.

On the night, we provide free food and refreshments, including popcorn, hotdogs and nachos - and there are always great laughs and a fantastic community vibe.
