It's been a really busy few weeks here at the Gorbals Ideas Fund. We've had a great time meeting with the people whose ideas were successful in making it to Round 2 of Your Priorities.
It's been fantastic to hear more about the experiences, opinions, thoughts, views and feeling that led to the idea and we've been bowled over by just how open everyone has been in welcoming our suggestions and the input of other local people at our Community Conversations.
As each idea develops we're able to really see just what sort of difference they could make to our community and we'd really love for you to get involved in these conversations and become just as excited as we are!
We're meeting every Wednesday at the Community Room in 341 Caledonia Road from 6pm to 7.30pm until the 1 June 2022 and everyone is welcome to come along and get involved in developing these amazing ideas.

A befriending service would recruit volunteers to help people experiencing social isolation and loneliness. If you know someone who would benefit from this service, if you'd like to volunteer for a service like this or you just think it’s a good idea come along and tell us about it!

Does the Gorbals need a new community facility? What should the community facility look like and what do you want and need from a community space? Come along and tell us your views!
